Q: Are you fully insured?
A: Yes. Maidstone Tree Surgeons Ltd carries full public liability insurance, and all our work is carried out to British Standard BS3998 for tree work.

Q: Do you provide free quotes?
A: Absolutely. We offer free, no-obligation quotes on all jobs.

Q: Do you take the waste away?
A: Yes. All waste is removed unless you’d like us to leave woodchip or logs for your own use.

Q: Can you remove a tree completely?
A: Yes. We provide safe and efficient tree felling and dismantling.

Q: Do you do stump grinding?
A: Yes. We have specialist stump grinding equipment for all sizes of stumps.

Q: What’s the difference between crown reduction and crown thinning?
A: Crown reduction reduces the size of the tree, while crown thinning removes select branches to reduce density and improve light.

Q: Will you need access through my house?
A: No. We always aim to use side or rear access.

Q: How much does tree surgery cost?
A: Costs depend on tree size, complexity, access, and waste removal. We provide a clear written quote before work begins.

Q: Do you charge VAT?
A: Yes, VAT is applied to all our services and shown clearly on quotes and invoices.

Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: Bank transfer, debit/credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, cheque, and cash. Payment terms are 7 days.


Safety & Permissions

Q: Do I need permission to have my tree cut down?
A: Trees may be protected by a TPO or in a Conservation Area. We can check and handle applications for you.

Q: Are your staff qualified?
A: Yes. All staff are fully trained, NPTC qualified, and experienced.

Q: What happens in an emergency?
A: We offer a 24/7 emergency call-out service for dangerous or storm-damaged trees.


Aftercare & Advice

Q: Will my garden be left tidy?
A: Yes. We pride ourselves on leaving every site clean and tidy.

Q: Can you give advice on tree health?
A: Definitely. We can assess the health of your trees and recommend pruning, treatment, or removal.

Q: Do you offer regular maintenance services?
A: Yes. We provide scheduled maintenance for both domestic and commercial clients.
